The sole remaining pub in a village which once boasted six.
Previously called the Brewery Inn this is a lively open plan single bar pub adorned with enamel signs and other memorabilia. Patronised by younger set. The garden has a play area for children. Unpretentious pub food which can be bought as takeaway. Regular steak and curry nights. Live music most Saturdays.
Good country pub, it was our first visit and we were very impressed
Proper pub for having a drink and some food. Very reasonably priced too. I've enjoyed my visits and will continue to go there. Since we've last been my wife was diagnosed as being coeliac, and they catered very well for her, far better than many places we've been. They know their stuff. Really appreciate that kind of service.
Wow what a gem of a place found in a scenic area.....a real village pub. Staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Has a pool table, darts board and skittle alley along with a selection of beers (including local) Although haven't yet tasted food but the food I've seen is amazing
Great staff, food and service, a decent locally sourced menu that's very affordable. A lovely pub with lots of things to do, whether it's enjoying a pint, having something to eat or playing pool, darts or skittles, lots of young and older locals with a great atmosphere throughout the week, the chef was excellent and personally made sure everyone having food was being catered for. Look forward to coming back!
Great little country pub. Loads of character and clean and tidy throughout. We didn't eat but the menu looked nice. Highly recommend.

A great meal and a great sleep... local food and proper pillows, that's what we do at the Greyhound.

Evershot, Dorchester, DT2
Set in the picturesque West Dorset village of Evershot, this lovely old stone-built Inn boasts worthy history. Originally known as The Kings Arms, it once brewed its own ales with water drawn from the source of the River Frome.
