Wonderful old-world charm in the heart of Conwy that's full of character and warmth. A classic hotel with attention to detail and welcoming, friendly staff. Very dog friendly; bowl and dog bed awaited us in the room, dogs can go into the bar area also. We booked a table to eat in the bar in the evening, and our pup slept fireside and got spoiled by staff and fellow hotel guests as we ate a very tasty meal. Our dog was even offered a sausage at breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel and hotel bar. Good parking. Some rooms have castle views, also. Very classy yet cozy hotel. Dog friendly. Gluten Allergy Friendly. Fresh and flavorful menu.
The original interior and exterior features are stunning and full of character. The waiting staff were nice, helpful and conscientious. The food was absolutely impeccable at fair prices. I had a smoked haddock rosti and the fish was cooked perfectly. The kids' chocolate ice cream was the richest I've ever seen. I had a peek at the hotel room corridors and they look just beautiful. We will definitely come to stay next time. Makes me proud to be a North Walian.
A great team efforts make this hotel a lovely place to stay. The hotel does require some upkeep but we appreciated that since its an old building (and potentially listed ?) upgrades may be difficult to achieve. Great location in the centre of Conwy - once parked up (hotel has a car park) you can walk easily everywhere local.
An absolutely wonderful place. I can highly recommend. Food was good. Bar was very friendly. Our room was fabulous. A very modern recreation of an old time radio was playing soft jazz when we first walked into our very large room. Comfortable bed and modern bathroom made our 2 nights there an amazing part of our trip to the UK.
Fantastic service could not fault it at all. Really made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Bar staff were amazing looking after an elderly couple sat at the bar as well. The bar team are a credit to the business.
