Welcome to the Bull Hotel, located in Abergele, Conwy, famous for being one of the oldest, yet most beautiful buildings in Abergele. This building was originally used by the Mormons before setting off for Salt Lake City.

I didn't stay at the hotel, but, because of the history associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I came to eat there while I was visiting in the UK. An annex portion of the hotel was originally built as a chapel by LDS members. My ancestor was from northern Wales and perhaps attended there. The staff was very kind and accommodating, but also respectful to other diners who were already seated by the plaque outlining the history. The food was fabulous. We all enjoyed our meal thoroughly. The service was great. I'm grateful for the chance I had to visit the site. It was a bonus to get such a great meal with courteous and prompt service. Thank you to the Bull Hotel restaurant staff!
We went there with our daughter for lunch at 12.30pm. One bartender who was also the waiter! We didn't have to wait too long for our drinks and meals. The main course was really nice and large portions. There was a long delay after our main course and I had to go to the bar and ask for the dessert menus. We chose 3 different desserts which were on the menu but they didn't have any of these. So we paid the bill and went home! Disappointed. If the desserts we wanted had been available and service had been faster I would have given the Bull five stars. Next time I will ask what desserts they have available before I book!
Incredible tasty food, large portions, really friendly staff and locals.
We booked a family room, which was very spacious and well fitted. The only down side for me is that our room smelt of old people home, other than the smell, rest was fabulous. Very good value for money for budget hotel. Came with free full English breakfast, great value.
Our 2 days stay here was spoilt by the management .This place is listed as being dog friendly but our dog Frank wasn't welcomed we had to have our breakfast the first morning in our room as our dog was barking at him no one else .The breakfast wasn't up to much as they don't do vegetarian options so breakfast for me was small. Also the cereal was stale and there were flies hoovering the lights from above our table. The man that runs this place is so rude and not very friendly at all .So we won't be visiting again
