Nice pub, the staff and landlady were brilliant during our weekend camping. Beer and food was good. Camping toilets and showers were clean. Good rural location on the edge of Exmoor, ideal for exploring North Devon.
The woman who currently runs this pub doesn't care. She often has mood swings and shouts at people. It's a dump. 😠Google often thinks that I go here, but actually I don't. I go next door to my friend's place to perform grounds maintenance and other handyman services. 😊
What a great campsite. We booked for 1 night. Lovely landlord also a pub right next door, all services were good. Peacocks were a bonus to look at too. We paid 25 pounds for a pitch.
We booked a wake 2 weeks in advance. They could not have been more helpful. No "sausage rolls and sandwiches". It was a wonderful spread of meats, cheeses, salads, etc etc. And of course scones with cream and jam done the proper way! If people were still there 2 hours later, you know it was good! I cannot thank them enough. Amazing!
Mixed bunch of reviews but we went for it anyway. Very much a locals pub but didn’t feel unwelcome. The stand in barman did a grand job making us feel welcome and the Ham, Egg & Chips was very tasty.

Our food here displays a modern take on British and French classics with a certain complexity in the cooking. The Masons Arms was awarded a Michelin Star in 2006 which we still hold and we have been recognised by all of the major guides and local tourism
