The Bell Inn is a beautiful thatched British Cotswold village pub and B&B in the heart of the countryside.
Serving brilliant food and an excellent bed and breakfast makes it a great place to enjoy a lovely meal or spend a pleasant weekend in the area. The Bell also has great service and entertainment for all ages, including fun pub games such as pool and hook the ring on the bullhorn.
Great value for money. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay, all locally sourced. We also had an evening meal and loved the home-cooked food. Great location to stay, very near Oxford and Whitney. The room was clean, no extra charges for parking or our dog. However, the power shower was intermittent. One light in the room was not working.
Enjoyed a fantastic evening at The Bell. Played Toad in the Hole (very old pub game) with a couple of the locals and "Senior Barman", Simon. Then challenged the landlord to a few games of pool (he's decent). Rooms are really nice and the cooked breakfast was excellent, even though I was a little bit too worse for wear to enjoy it. All in all, The Bell is a really charming pub that's run by people that really care about it and the community. Will be back!
Nice bedrooms and Timothy Taylor's Landlord on draught! Good range of 0 alcohol beers for the drivers.
Lovely pub with lovely staff and good vibes all round. The rooms were nice enough and can't complain. Owner was helpful and was able to supply a packed lunch as I was working early and wouldn't be able to make it to breakfast which was amazing. I think the rooms would do well for a quick run around with a carpet cleaner. Unless it's the design of the carpet. I think a desk with the room to replace the dresser the kettle is on would be more useful to me.
Just called by for a quick drink to reminisce a previous wedding reception around 12 years ago. Fabulous friendly barmaid and manager made us feel very welcome. Would love to call again if in the area
