A two-bar black & white-timbered terraced inn located opposite the imposing village church, the bells of which lend the place its name. A restaurant area serving food (not Mondays or Sunday evenings) contrasts with a basic yet comfortable public bar, replete with grand fireplace, alcoves and books and newspapers. Friendly and welcoming this pub lies the heart of its community. A large garden features at the rear. Plenty of on-street parking is usually available.
Very friendly ......gorgeous syrup sponge and custard. Pork crackling to die for.
Lovely black and white timbered pub with 2 areas. A bar and pool table some an open fire. The other side has a bar and open fire but laid out for dining. Also beer garden with some traditional pub games for the summer months. Lovely pizza and gammon the evening we went. Friendly service and cosy pub.
This place is awesome. The food is perfect the service is second to none and the atmosphere is amazing a real family run place where everyone knows each other. And your all made welcome. Thats the main bit.... feeling welcome.
Had a lovely evening meal. We had 11 people all together including 3 kids and everyone left full and happy.
Best quality and value Sunday lunch of all time and very attentive staff
