The Bear is a purpose built community pub, serving the Bilton and Cawston areas.

The spacious bar has just been refurbish and offers a lovely relaxing area to sit and eat, or to simply enjoy a quiet drink. Families and children are always welcome, and a new play area has been added as part of the modernisation.

The bar offers a wide range of wines, spirits, soft drinks, and, of course, a range of perfectly kept traditional ales, both from our home brewer Charles Wells and numerous guest breweries from around the country.

Food is served Tuesday to Sunday, focusing on traditional English pub grub at reasonable price. See our Menus page for the current menus.

If your looking for entertainment to go with your drink, we show sports whenever appropriate, have a separate pool and darts area.

So please pop in, have a look at our new decor and enjoy a drink, and maybe a meal.
