One of Bath city centre's smallest pubs located in an attractive passageway between New Bond Street and Upper Borough Walls. The 'Volly' is a traditional one-bar pub which is a favourite with the locals. On display there are numerous military themed posters reflecting the pub's name. 'British Classic' pub fare is on offer and there is an upstairs dining room. Piped music has a 70/80s bias. There is a small outside seating area at the front. Moles supplies the house beer.
Best pub in Bath. Paul is great landlord. Made us feel so welcome and so did the locals. Will definitely be returning
What can I say, great little pub with a great atmosphere and very good landlord owner, everyone friendly, well worth a visit and a few beers, if you are lucky you will get a few free bar pump signs 👍 I only went in for one beer and landed up having a few look forward to returning at some point John & Nicola Cambridge
This is a wonderful and atmospheric place! If you want to feel like part of the family, then welcome! Everything about this place is great, from the helpful staff to the music to the guests. We were happy to visit this pub. Thank you for the positive emotions and, of course, for the blessings and development of this place.
No food apart from crisps etc but this acceptable for a pub. Good choice of beer, cider and lagers Staff and customers are cheerful and willing to advise and small talk.
Great little pub with a comedian behind the tap. He was able to poor a perfect pint even though he couldn't reach the tap without a stool and his eyes were so crossed I'm sure he couldn't see beyond his nose. Highly recommended. Wonderful pub! Cheers to employing the special people.
