Home to live sport, fine food and one of the best pints of Guinness in London, The Hop Pole is a popular pub in Wandsworth that offers a warm welcome to all.
It’s a busy, bustling local, attracting a large and loyal following of regulars and visitors with its promise of well-kept beer.
Run by an Irish licensee, the Guinness here is particularly well looked after, while Emerald Isle memorabilia lines the walls, with stylish booth seating and old oak beams lending charm and character to the place.
Screens throughout the pub show Sky Sports and BT Sport channels. Fans can enjoy all the big match action with a first-class pint - and if you’re not a football fanatic, you can always escape to a pleasant heated garden.
You’ll find The Hop Pole located on Putney Bridge Road, on the edge of the beautiful Wandsworth Park.

My favourite pub in London. They have in my opinion the best Guinness I've had in the country. Unbelievably they also have the best Thai food I've had in the country as well. Been back many times and will always be a returning customer.
A great pub to visit that I recommend to all my friends. The food is delicious, the service is always excellent and the atmosphere is lovely. They have a Thai chef so a lot of Thai dishes or traditional pub dishes with a Thai spin to them. And they have a really cute back garden to sit outside if the weather is nice. On top of it all the prices are really reasonable. Whenever I visit this place, it makes my day and leave with a big smile. It's one of my favourite places to go to if I want to eat out.
What a great Irish pub. It's a 💎 Gem. Great drinks and food and atmosphere. First time I have visited this pub and will return for sure. Very friendly staff and family welcoming pub. Highly recommended.
Great English pub! We came in for lunch and a beer. The beer was good but the thai was better. While there the locals all showed up to watch a game of rugby on the big screens. It was a great atmosphere and everyone was very friendly. If I'm ever back in the area I'll be sure to pop in for a quick pint.
