Ye Olde Jolly Sailor’s location is a superb walking destination and offers all of the attractions at the seaside. Come along and enjoy the three open fires in the winter and two fantastic beer gardens in the summer months. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views and our friendly hospitality.
Roast dinner was fabulous. Staff so welcoming and friendly. Pet friendly. We live over an hour away and would definitely go back again for the roast and service
Did not eat here as already eaten, but a fantastic menu, lovely and warm sitting by the fire with a great pint of Guinness
A nice quaint pub, it's the oldest pub in Teignmouth I've been told and popular with the Morris dancers as this is the last pub that they usually finish at. On my stop here I had a hot chocolate although there's plenty of choices of cold beverages avaliable. A good menu choice to suit different appetites.
Came here for food while out drinking . Service was good. Food was not what we expected . Sausage and mash, the mash was lumpy so was left. Lasagna could have been a bit thicker and wasn't worth the money . Chicken burger was a bit dry and the Mac and cheese didn't quite have enough flavour . On a plus side The onion rings were good the bacon and brie baguette and the smoked mackerel with horse radish baguette was good and the hunters chicken was good . Out of 7 meals 3 were good 3 were below par 1 was just not enough(but I'm a big eater) Drinks selection in the bar was good Would try the food again as it wasn't that bad so could have just been an off day.
An absolute gem, great pub and the food was excellent the whole family loved it would definitely be our go to place for lunch whenever were in Teignmouth
