We booked a meal at the yard bar through Groupon , 2 burgers and fries for £15 the drinks were a little expensive at £5.20 for a pint of larger and £7.40 for 250 glass of red wine, it wasn’t busy but there was just one guy serving behind the bar, taking orders and bringing the food , The burgers were nice and warm and tasty but not overly big and we’re only worth the half price we paid for them with the Groupon deal ,The bar is a little tired with a sticky floor and the gents toilets had a hole punched in the wall ,and is in need of a face lift ,the staff we helpfully and friendly ,the bar if also dog friendly.
Came here on a weekend while in Ilkley for some lunch with the family! The burger was absolutely delicious and so were the salt and pepper criss cross chips! I didn’t rate the mac and cheese to be honest as I’m not a massive mustard fan and this was covered in it! The waiter/bar man was very friendly and excellent with children I noticed too! I would return and recommend 👍🏻
The burgers in my opinion were excellent. Pretzel bun was a nice touch. May have been a little bit too much sauce as the burger was constantly slipping out the bun. Managed with a knife and fork in the end. The atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon is a casual relaxed vibe decent for eating burgers and halloumi fries with a couple of pints.
Great tasting chicken burgers, full of flavour and nice toppings of bacon and cheese (recommend The Hunter). Staff really friendly. Nice warm fire by the bar makes this a cosy place for food and drink
Great food nice atmosphere. Seeing a dog walk in freaked me out but thats just cause Im scared of them. But its a good idea for those who have dogs.
