This is a proper pub, not a restaurant disguised as a pub. The real ale was well kept and the menu unfussy and well presented. The staff were attentive and if you weren't ready to order they really do come back in 5 minutes. Real fire and clean toilets too!
There for a wake after a funeral service. Delightful little pub in a gorgeous Worcestershire village. Great beer, lovely buffet laid on and the staff couldn't have been more obliging and pleasant. First class.
We recently used the Rose Room here to celebrate a platinum wedding anniversary. The staff and management could not have been more helpful. Great care and attention was taken with the layout of the room and a lovely buffet was provided. If you're just a normal pub visitor you'll find this is a traditional English village pub which is grade 2 listed. It hosts a comfortable bar and lounge both of which allow you to imagine the building back at its origins. There is also a large, well cared for beer garden. We can't thank this establishment enough.
Pretty good drink selection but rather slow service ( although it was Wake day & busy ) We didn't eat so I can't comment on food. Nice beer garden out the back to sit & sun 🌞 ourselves in !
Amazing Sunday lunch. Beautiful gardens. No booking needed. Homemade biscuits. Best chips I've ever had!
