The Woolpack is run by Graham and Clare Hindle and has a large restaurant of 50 covers, a bar with pool table, a function room and a large garden for families to enjoy. On top of all of that we want to enhance our services to the local community by offering speciality food nights, business lunches and a village shop!
The pub over the last few years has become the hub of the village of Fornham, there is always a great atmosphere whether you are just popping in after work for a quick drink or making a night of it experiencing our lovely menu
The woolpack definitely has something for everyone and is fortunate to have a sports bar with a pool table, a main bar, comfortable restaurant and a seperate restaurant/function room which can be used for business or pleasure.
We aim to make this the village with a pub that has it all!.

Local Beer from tab! Food is good! Owner is nice! Really good place to hangout!
Very disappointed that the menu offered was not the same as that offered online. Not a lot of choice. Food was very basic - peas were hard, very small piece of plaice, quiche pastry was too hard. However, landlords are very pleasant.
Had a very very nice burger and chunky chips this evening. Very friendly staff. Haven't been for a long time as don't leave close anymore but we were en route to pick up son. Will definitely go back.
Had a pleasant meal here while staying locally and looking for somewhere to eat a reasonably priced early evening meal. The food was plentiful and tasty, service good and staff friendly. The pub's rear garden is quite spacious with tables to seat a fair number of customers, although it could probably do with a makeover. The pub appears to be popular with locals and this gave it a lively atmosphere. If you need to take your car there is plenty of room in the car park and if using public transport there is a bus stop right outside.
Called in for lunch with my mum on a Thursday, not too crowded so no trouble getting a table. Friendly service from the staff and only a short wait for our food to arrive. I had the butternut squash tart and chips which was great - the pastry was especially good. Nice pint of Abbot. Mum had the pork belly with new potatoes, also good but she did need to request a steak knife to get to the bottom of it! The meat was really tender though and she enjoyed it. Not mum's first time there and I'd certainly make a return visit too.
