Booked the Woolpack for my Mothers funeral wake and the family weren't disappointed with the buffet and service provided. Can recommend for any family function.
Nice pub, with a pleasant beer garden. Good choice of beers on draught. Food terrible - “bisto” style lumpy gravy on the sausage and mash was a let down. Burger was still pink in the middle.

After a long walk at the National trust, we stopped here for lunch and drinks. Lovely atmosphere, food was delicious and our server Emma was extremely welcoming and super helpful! Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.
What a find! One of the best burgers I've ever had and my wife loved the steak and ale pie. Great drinks selection and very friendly service. Great value for money and dog friendly. Cannot recommend enough!
