Popped in for some lunch while charging my car at the Osprey chargers. Welcoming staff, a lunch sized portion of fish and chips with mushy peas, which was really nice.
Staff were welcoming. Pub is nice. I just wasn't impressed with my chicken salad, which consisted mainly of lettuce, and chicken breast with no flavour. However the other meal of fish and chips was nice. Maybe you can improve the chicken salad dish as it was really boring chomping through what seemed like a whole iceberg lettuce and a bland chicken breast. Otherwise nice place snd friendly staff. Just felt I had to elaborate.
They were great with gluten free requests and they managed to squeeze 8 of us in at short notice. They've also got a special menu for dogs, which is great. The burgers were Fab and we were able to charge the car. Really friendly and welcoming staff, thank you!
Had a lovely meal on the way back to the West Country. Was recommended to try their Festive burger and my wife had Mac & Cheese. All really nice, came out nice and hot. Great potions as well. Would definitely pop in again.
We were greeted by a very warm welcome from the staff. They were very attentive and engaging. The food was piping hot and delicious, very generous portions. We weren't harassed and were left to enjoy our evening with the occasional lovely member of staff checking that we had everything we needed Overall, an excellent experience and will definitely be returning.
