I had a lovely stay at woodcote. Kind and helpful stuff, clean rooms every day, breakfast with fresh fruit and croissants. I can warmly recommend a stay here. 15 minutes train station that will take you in to Liverpool
Went for a Christmas works ‘do’ - food and staff superb. Would definitely recommend. Had a suite, which is luxury. The only negative, there wasn’t a full length mirror. Immaculate and spacious. Breakfast delicious. Will definitely stay again.
The Woodcote is a modernised hotel in a convenient location, close to M53 and also close to Hooton railway station. I live nearby, so I don't need to stay there, but I do treat myself to a walk-in breakfast every week or so. The breakfast room is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly Barbara, who is often on duty when I visit. The breakfasts are very good value for money and freshly cooked, unlike the pre-cooked and over-priced food in the local garden centres! I recommend you give the Woodcote a try.
Great Sunday lunch, we didn't book but there was a table available. Really friendly staff, great prices and great choice in the menu. Complimentary bread and olives and a free bottle of wine. 2 Sunday lunches( that were really tasty) and a pot of tea, with the free wine came to less than £40.
The lady who checks us in, helped us while we were there and served our breakfast was fantastic! She was kind, helpful and so pleasant. My friend and I traveling together each got our own room. The rooms are very generous size! With no AC however, they are very stuffy, there are no fans. We called and they were kind enough to bring fans which we were grateful for. It feels like that wasn't something we should have to ask for though. Neither of our TV's had any channels come in. My toilet had toilet paper stuck to the side that did not go down when the toilet was flushed. So was it cleaned? It seems a bit gross. Then I saw something on the floor. I say it's a leaf, but I don't really want to know. The cleanliness left something to be desired. The rooms although huge, feel substandard. Our keys were skeleton keys! For real!
