The Wisewood Inn is a country pub, based in the heart of the Loxley Valley, on the outskirts of Sheffield. Serving the finest Loxley Brewery cask ales (brewed on site) and delicious homemade food, there is something for everyone to enjoy. With spectacular views overlooking the Loxley Valley, we have one of the largest beer gardens in Sheffield.
We had a starter 3 soups which were all cold. I had a steak which was nice but my daughter’s pizza was not cooked properly. Disappointed as we had travelled to see my daughter who is a university student and the reviews were very good.
First time visitors, drawn by the lovely Loxley beers and reviews. Arrived early lunchtime. Glad we did as the pub soon filled. Great service, food and beer. Very impressed by the care given to a table of customers with additional needs. Patient, caring and kind in a very understated way. Need to find a bus route. Those beers are so good
Lovely place for both indoor and outdoor dining. The food is delicious and the light lunch fantastic value.

I had the minted lamb burger topped with feta. It was gorgeous. The chips and coleslaw were lovely, too. The only downside of the session pale ale was warm and not very pleasant to taste. Other than that, I can't wait to try more on the menu! A pint of cider, a bottle of peroni and two burgers came to about £28!! So cheap and the portions are generous.
