Hello, fans. We at Wings & Beer Co. are now 3 years old. Yes! That sports’ bar down Cannon Street.
Well firstly, can we and all the team say a big thank you for your custom. Thank you for helping us grow into what we are today. We have listened, learnt and continue to grow. The same mission from day one still stands – Passion!
There has always been a number of things we are passionate about. What we cook, serve and broadcast on our screens. We haven’t given up on using free-range chicken, Hereford beef or having our freshly baked bread delivered to site daily. We haven’t cashed in on the quality of the beers and real ales we serve. Still looking for trends and local brews to try out. We shop as local as we can with our suppliers & will continue to try to get it right. Always caring for different markets and trying to provide an alternative. From vegetarian and vegan dishes to gluten-free beers and food options.
Sport really does make our world go around. We will put every sport you can shake a stick at on if it’s on and you can enjoy this on 20 HD screens dotted around the bar and with sound. We have added more & more sport channel packages to ensure we look the part & mean business.
Passion means so much more to us than just chicken, beer & sport and we show this with the cocktail range, hot coffees and the selection of iconic soft drinks on offer. Covid-19 has also brought us some challenges but we’ve used this time to grow other parts of the business to ensure you the ‘fan’ experience a difference. A great wifi system installed (swear down), online ordering is now available from your table, a take out option ready to collect when you are ready AND a brand new table reservation system to make it easy to receive your confirmation immediately. You lucky lot!
So, three years done and another one ahead. We very much look forward to seeing you all again soon & will continue to put blood, sweat & tears into this place.

Great food. Fresh and tasty. Expect some wait time when it’s busy. Foods worth the wait when it arrives.
Greay place.... popped in and had a bangin meal.... food was piping hot and FULL of flavour... the Manager was very friendly and helpful! Loved the Katus Fries...
Stopped in on a Sunday for food and a couple of drinks. TV screens galore for football and other sports, great service, good cocktails and food was spot on (plated chorizo burger and Polla Pazza wings). Book early for a table when the football is on!
Extremely loud. Walked in but decided to sit outside. This place was recommended by the friend that came with me. We ordered the what aload of buffalo and the pulled pork as a side. The food was awfully spiced, I mean I'm portuguese and I can handle spice, however it literally tasted like cheap hot sauce in such a big amount you couldn't taste anything else. The pulled pork the same the amount of sauce it was just inedible!!! We won't come back
We used to love it here. Went back recently and it was understaffed, so bar staff were really grumpy and rude. The food was no where near what it used to be. Coleslaw was on the menu but none of us got it, we asked for it to be replaced with something else and were ignored. The vegan wings used to be so good, they used to be in a pool of sauce and really good quality. Now it's basically just similar to Quorn nuggets with a tiny drizzle of sauce (picture attached), and it was £10 just for the wings. So disappointing.
