    Hi everybody!!
Welcome back to the Winchester Club!
We would like to introduce ourselves, we are Mike and Fiona, a Dutch – English couple who are looking forward to serving you some nice homemade tasty food. We are new to Winchester after 15 years of having a successful restaurant in the South of Spain. Maybe you have been there? Málaga, Torremolinos or Benalmádena?
It was a good time but we are now in the South of England...
Our restaurant in Spain was called Otelli's Kitchen, we liked the name so decided to keep it. We understand that it will be difficult now, but we are looking forward to the challenge of building a, hopefully, successful business here at the Winchester Club.
We did it similarly in Spain, organising events, catering, Sunday Roasts, Curry nights, Friday fish and chips.
That’s what you can expect from us, our menu is International, a bit of everything, introducing tasty Dutch snacks, Spanish tapas, Italian appetisers but also British classics to start the day.
We would like to bring some special events twice a month, a three course menu, or buffet, with different food from Greece, Mexico, Caribbean or a Steak night! We already have a schedule for the rest of 2021, have a look! Sunday Roast will be a choice of Beef, Pork or Chicken at £9.95 and this will commence from Sunday 23rd May.
Something different at the club and in Winchester, we want to become a meeting point for nice people, especially now after these hard times.
Members can look forward to these events, at these events we will sometimes organise a fun quiz during the meal. Simple questions, to relax and have a bit of fun as we try to get back to normality.
We have a lot of ideas, but we can also listen to your ideas! Maybe you want to eat something different, maybe you want a curry night, maybe you want paella, a glass of Sangria? All possible! Please let us know!
Nice to meet you! Mike and Fiona. less

    Club Re-opening
The Committee are planning to re-open the Club from Monday 17 May 2021, which will include the afternoon Bingo Session.
The Rule of Six will apply indoors.

This re-opening date is subject to the Government’s Lockdown roadmap going to plan.
    Membership Fees 2021
The Committee have agreed to waive the 2021 membership fee for paid-up members.
Members who were paid-up on 31 December 2020 will automatically have their membership extended to 31 December 2021.
Members who were not paid-up on 31 December 2020 will have to re-apply for membership and pay the reduced fee for 2021.
Renewal of membership and payment of renewal fee will be required from January 2022.
    Club Improvements
The outdoor seating area has been expanded and more outdoor seating is now available.
The Smoking area has been moved to the expanded patio.
    Snooker Room
We will continue with the booking system for members to book a table to play snooker, as we were doing before the latest lockdown.
Because the ‘rule of six’ will still be applicable when the Club re-opens, we will restrict the number of people in the snooker room  to 12 with a maximum of 2 tables of 4 being played at any one time.
Bookings for tables must be made with the Bar Staff and can only be made up to 1 week in advance.
    Caterers
We have new caterers, Fiona and Mike, who hope to start on Monday 17 May with Monday lunch menu. Sunday roasts will be available.
