You'll find The Clifton in Clifton Street, just off Kingshill, in Old Town, Swindon.
We're also just ten minutes drive from Jn16 of the M4. Just head towards Swindon town centre keeping John Lewis at Home on your right. Go under the railway bridge and past Dick Lovett BMW on your right and take the second exit on the roundabout with the Esso garage. Clifton Street is a left turn 400 yds up Kingshill.
Staff is rude , they don’t wash the beer glasses properly.They should learn the basics of hospitality.. poor and ignorant staff ( the bar tender especially) … the ambience is really dull , there are better options nearby ( like weatherspoon) .., no wonder why the pub is always empty . ( Google should give the option to give -1 rating )
Friendly atmosphere via the great staff and superb outdoor area - rare in Old Town, Swindon. Shame it's an Arkells pub 😄 as their beer is not great, but it is well priced.
Quiz night on a Wed brilliant fun never a dull moment. Great pub like they should be , staff were excellent very friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff, nice surroundings. Was very quiet when I went in so no real atmosphere but I'm sure it's great when it's busier. I just nipped in for a swift half after work so hard to tell
Brilliant night at the Clifton , wednesday night quiz night. Nice clean tidy pub with excellent choice of great tasting drinks . Staff were very friendly will be visiting again soon.
