The pizzas we had was absolutely dismal. The “sourdough” pizza tasted nothing like the real sourdough we are all used to. The service wasn’t bad but the pizza was just horrendous. Do not recommend having the pizza.
Had breakfast. Was cold. They took away and regrilled the bacon and microwaved the beans. Warmed up toast so it made it hard. Eggs freshly cooked and hotter. But didn't finish it because it wasn't all fresh. Really disappointed 😥
Came in for some drinks and food with a friend on quiet Tuesday. we ordered a bottle of Prosecco which was reasonably priced and the food was really lovely, unfortunately as often when I visit the service wasn’t the best, staff look like they’re dressed for a Sunday at home and our dirty plates sat on the table for hours despite multiple staff members walking past. Also witnessed who I assume was a member of the kitchen team drinking and then going behind the bar to get an other drink. Manager also looked like he was wearing dirty clothes and had his toes out. It’s a no from me. Place seems to be getting worse and worse. Shout out to the young lad that served us as he was the only one who had an actual shirt on and a smile on his face. Toilets are also covered in flies and smell awful. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back
My first time visit. pleased with the service. The sandwich I ordered was massive. enjoyed.
On our visit again to the old town part of Swindon in Wiltshire,we had a good look around all the shops,then decided to get some refreshment so went into Mackenzies Bar and kitchen...On entering we were surprised how big the place is,as it doesn't look that big from the outside it's like a bit of a TARDIS with plenty of room inside and lots of tables to choose from....I ordered two teas and a bacon sandwich that came toasted,the bacon was cooked just right and very tasty too....The staff were lovely and welcoming and the service was excellent with our order being served in no time at all....The decoration inside is nice too with plenty of pictures on the walls etc..... Overall a great place to go.....👍
