A fantastic, traditional, family pub in the heart of the beautiful market town of Morpeth
The White Swan is one of the oldest and more traditional watering holes in Morpeth. Paul and Mark have run the pub for the last 5 and a half years; although they have sought to inject some of their personalities and interests into the pub (particularly their passion for golf) the pub has retained the character and the history of the pub.
Its regulars and new customers enjoy warm hospitality, friendly staff and can relax in comfortable surrounds. The White Swan has established a reputation for hosting live music varying from the highly entertaining Skatoons and Slease Sisters to the American rockers the Poor Boys then more contemporary bands as the Zoos and FMs.
The upstairs Lounge offers a sophisticated contrast to the traditional downstairs bar. The Cygnet Lounge offers the perfect setting for our customers to enjoy cocktails, good wines and relaxed conversation. The room offers the perfect venue for functions, an ideal starting point for hen and birthday celebrations as well as a meeting room for various organisations and groups.
The pub offers a wide variety of spirits, bottles as well as draught beers including real ales (guest and resident).
