Came for the scooter rally one of the best pubs we visited friendly staff great beer
A proper pub, where people talk to you and welcome you! I didn't eat there so I cannot make comments but I loved visiting this pub! We met a retired biology teacher who spike French fluently, with such a good sense of humour. We were welcomed by everyone on a very wet Saturday afternoon! Lovely place!
It reminded me of a typical 1980s town centre pub. Not a great range of beers but enough to satisfy. Lovely sun trap area out back. I went there twice in two days so it must be worth a visit.
We had an unscheduled family gathering here. Peter and his staff are fantastic hosts and go all out to make everyone welcome. Great selection of pints, that classic pub feel, a great outdoor area and a very friendly atmosphere.
We had booked a room in a hotel. It turned out to be a pub with rooms upstairs. Unfortunately it was in awful condition with damp walls, plenty of clutter. Our room smelt of damp despite open window. It was very dusty in the room. It was very misleading on airbnb website that it's a sweet hotel with nice rooms. It was an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately we arrived in the afternoon, so there was no time to look for something more appropriate. The location is great in the town centre, however if you want somewhere quite and peaceful while in the Ribble Valley don't book it at the weekend as the noise outside on a Saturday night is like your in a Tenerife beach resort.
