This place is outstanding. It should be famous. Marina O'Loughlin will come here and then Jay Rayner will and then no bugger will be able to get a table for love nor money. My advice is go before it's too busy.
We went for Sunday lunch (there were 8 of us) and the beef, pork and plaice were ordered. There were 8 clean plates collected from our table. Most of us had sticky toffee pudding for afters. Absolutely delicious food and we will be back.
Delicious and imaginative meals last night at The White Horse. Everything served with care and attention but not fussy (in a good way!). The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. This will be our go-to eatery from now on especially as the menu changes frequently according to the seasonal produce available.
Beautiful 17th century pub and beautiful walks in and around this gorgeous picturesque village
First and foremost, the food is brilliant: interesting, wonderfully prepared with passion, perfect portion sizes and great quality ingredients. The wine list had plenty of choice and thankfully no boring and overpriced wines. The service is that perfect mix of being attentive and informative, but never too much. The decor is fresh and high quality, not fussy but stylish. It surpassed high expectations and we can’t believe it’s so close for us to visit very regularly! Well done for such a comprehensively great job.
