What a lovely place to stay and eat! Such a lovely location and great locals. The food is UNREAL, the seafood linguini was to die for! And the steak and ale pie was the best I’ve ever had! Such a lovely rich ale filling OMG!!! Nuno and Jess are legends! Get down there for some food, a great atmosphere and maybe some of their shots. The baby Guinness and jam doughnuts went down a treat 🥰
Stunning little b&b ! Lovely staff, great breakfast also! The room we had was beautiful we stays for 4 nights myself and 2 children they loved it slept great and so did I! The landlord even got the guinea pig out for my boys to see and stroke ! All a very lovely team of people and I'd highly recommend for anyone visiting Chester to stay here ! Also comes with a fridge which came in so handy!!
Lovely Inn. Beautiful quaint rooms. Friendly accommodating staff. We had 2 rooms when our family stayed for 1 night & we found them very comfortable. The kids loved the guinea pigs in the garden too. 😁 Would recommend 100%.
We stayed here for one night and I didn't want to leave. The room was beautiful, very spacious, a gorgeous bathroom and really comfortable beds. The rooms are separate from the pub itself which avoids any noise. The beer garden is the perfect place for dinner and a few drinks. If I'm ever anywhere near here again I definitely will be back.
A lovely welcome from the staff at check-in for our 2 day stay in the deluxe king room. We were surprised to be informed that no breakfast would be available in the morning but would be available on our last day at 9.00 at the earliest (but our email confirmation said it was 8.00). It was only after our booking was confirmed that we were informed no food is served on Monday and Tuesday. Whilst it was a disappointment we at least were prepared for it but we assumed this only referred to evening meals. Our mistake. Fortunately our room contained a fridge so we were able to stock up with supplies for breakfast. The deluxe king room 2 was very clean, lovely and spacious and the mattress was extremely comfortable. We thought the property would benefit from having a wardrobe, drawers and a blind at the front door. I would not recommend this room for light sleepers as a ?generator/heat pump/air con was on constantly throughout the night.
