I waited outside of here as I have never been before and it was worth it. Traditional pub in one small room with large wooden dining tables, tucked away on a back street. If they were to change anything, it would be to add some screens for things such as football ⚽
After an error with our initial booking the lovely Clare worked a Christmas miracle to get everything sorted. I can’t fault the service received in order for our 9 party festive meal to go ahead! Polite, patient and great communication throughout. We did not get to meet Clare as I assume her shift was over by the time of our booking however our service whilst at the pub was also great, attentive, accommodating and friendly. I understand the chaos of this time of year so just wanted to show our appreciation!
We came here for Christmas lunch (pre-theatre show at the old vic) and booked it for middy on a Thursday. Lovely pub, ideal for the occasion. The staff were nice and friendly from start to finish, and the food was excellent very impressed and the choice of beers was also brilliant and set the tone just right! Just a stone's throw away from Waterloo Station and is an excellent location too. Would recommend! Solid A***** for the all-round service! LDT x
Visited The White Hart for the first time last Sunday. We booked a table in advance specifically for a Roast dinner at 2pm and nice to see all the options were still available but were selling out fast. I had roast beef and received a generous amount of meat and had the pigs in blankets as a side. Service was excellent, staff were very accommodating and friendly and the price point for the roast dinner was very competitive. The menu extended to salads, burgers etc on the Sunday too which was good. Range of beers from Madri to ales and dry cider. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back and highly recommend. Thank you
A lovely pub located near Waterloo Station. Great atmosphere with traditional decor. I visited on a rainy Wednesday evening with family. It was packed, and we haven't booked a table, but lucky we managed to get one as some people were leaving. So definitely recommend booking in advance. We ordered beer at the bar, which was excellent - draught Guinness, Peroni and another nice ale. There is a good selection of beers! Service was friendly and fast. The food was just excellent! We had fish and chips and a cheese burger. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend the place.
