Stopped overnight and had a lovely meal,very dog friendly with a park just across the road for the last walk before bed
Rented as an Air BnB for the weekend. The host Richard was lovely. Quaint lovely town. Great facilities. Well maintained pub. Very friendly and easy. Felt right at home. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great weekend away!
A great pub in a lovely area. From the moment we walked into the bar we felt like locals, the Landlord and staff are lunatics but in the best possible way, lovely people. The rooms are basic which is reflected in the price, but everything works as it should.
Coronation breakfast morning, Great atmosphere TV covering the event. Wonderful breakfast- set us up for the whole day. Lots of activities for the children Pony petting was in joyed by all the visitors.
this place!!!! people have moaned and complained in so many eays but this place is bang on!! worked local and stayed here, the owner is a top bloke funny and welcoming, young lass behind the bar is helpful and a good host. food is homely and cooked by the owners mrs amazing burgers and plenty on the plate. ignore the moaners its cosey traditional and comfortable, warm with the open fire and a good stay thanks damien and callum
