The White Hart is a traditional village pub that gives a warm welcome to every one who crosses the thresh hold .We serve a winter warmer food dish every Wednesday for just £5:00 from 5pm-7pm as well as our freshly made pizzas from 4pm until 9pm.
We have a quiz night every Thursday, Free pool every Wednesday as well as tournaments, live acts and singers and hold other community events.
The White Hart dates back to the 1700's and still retains many of its original features including open fires, bread oven, open brick work and beams.
We have a well stocked bar with over 30 Malt Whisky's, a good range of bottled Cider, Lager, Beer and Gina. Along with draught cider, a good selection of draught Lager and frequently changing guest ales.
Our guest ales come from many local micro brewers as well as more established brewers from up and down the country.
For the discerning palate we stock a quality range of Red, White, Rose and Sparkling Wines from around the world.
For your enjoyment we also have a Dart Board, Pool Table and Large Flat Screen TV.
We have outside sheltered seating areas and a large Car Park, coaches welcome.
We are a family friendly pub, and dog's are more than welcome.
We now also have the Cask Marque award 2011/12 & are also in the Camra's Good Beer Guide 2013.

Love this place!! Super friendly village pub with lots going on; quiz night, regular singers, pool tournaments, a different hot meal every Wednesday through winter and their freshly made-to-order pizzas are to die for!! Sharon and Sam have really turned this place around. Well done guys :)
No it was a awful little pub . Nobody in when we went in . Wouldn't recommend this pub to anybody . Tho toilets had no lights . Couldn't see we're we was going. Had to wait until l got home for a wee Toilets was smelly... just awful ...
First visit in 30 years! Had a lovely evening - got to know the landlord and landlady Glenn and Tracy - made to feel really welcome - probably regular haunt now we've made the effort - beer is excellent as well
The sandwiches and baguettes were fresh, made to order with lovely fresh side salad. Somewhere inside designated for dog owners and lots of outside seating for when the great British weather decides to be kind (we were the luck one's that day) plenty of 🌞 it's a place we'd really recommend to spend the day relaxing in the vast stunning gardens and the children even have a zoo to visit. Please go if you can you won't regret it I promise.
Driving back from long trip to and from Manchester, stopped for a drink and order a fish supper. Parked on the road outside, not illegally!! Amazon driver in front of me parked on the wrong side of the road, a car in the car park parked sideways so I couldn’t get in. Started to walk toward the fish shop when a gobshite of a landlord started ranting about parking causing an accident. Now a couple of words of advice, if you have a problem just talk to the person, don’t rant and rave. And my other words are, you never who you are talking to!🤔 I didn’t go into the pub so I cannot comment on it. However my impression is that the landlord is as I have said, a load mouth, best avoid it. Carry on to south cave. A couple of nice pubs and eateries there!!
