Our newly refurbished bar has 50” 4K screens throughout with live sports available, all of which you can enjoy with a bite to eat from our freshly cooked menu. Our menu includes pizzas from our wood fired oven, burgers and bar snacks! Plus we’re updating the menu soon.
We’re open Thursday to Sunday every week. On Thursdays and Fridays we’re open 5pm – 11pm and on Saturdays and Sunday we’re open 12pm – 11pm.

April, Lewis, Morgan and Dan are brilliant. Freindly staff and lovely food, I come here every week just for the staff and the atmosphere they provide.
Use Whelan's on a match day when it is extremely busy (as you would expect) and visited to watch the England v Wales World Cup game due to the WASC pizza offer. Pros: Facilities are good and staff are helpful and friendly. Pizza and food is of great quality, the salt and pepper chicken is one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend. Cons: Some of the couches / tables are not best positioned for viewing the screens when sport is on. Staff did though let us move it round to watch the game. Drinks are quite expensive and we were told by bar staff that the '15% off all food and drink for WC group stage' offer that we had seen advertised on their Facebook page and part of the reason we went was not available - Just 15% off drinks. Didn't really think that was on when it was advertised as that. Overall, good venue and will return on matchday. Might think twice on non matchdays as pricey compared to similar local venues.
First time been in. Fairly quiet as it's a Thursday evening. Staff been really friendly and welcoming. Food was good. Plenty of screens for different sports. Well worth a visit.
