Bar maid gave me a dirty look when I walked in , then ignored me and served everyone else except me, never got a drink, had to go elsewhere.
Standard Spoons, loads of space, a menu handed down through the ages, upstairs loos and quirky but astonishingly low prices. Beers extremely good, just wish more people drank them. Friendly atmosphere from both staff and customers. Onsite parking almost nonexistent, but plenty free spaces nearby.
Popular pub in the village, we holiday in braunston as kids & parents use to drink there, as extend family lived in village, but the wheatsheaf throughtout the yrs has been a popular pub in braunston, we was in pub last yr & bar staff & locals have always been welcoming Im not sure if they do food, but they do, do bar snacks, parking in the village is very limited
Great to have coffee and cake in a warm, inviting atmosphere after a lovely walk along the canal. Service was great without being intrusive. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Lovely village pub. Friendly staff and patrons. Shows sport which is a bonus for us.
