This traditional and friendly pub is located opposite the south end of the Elland's attractive river bridge and within walking distance of the canal. lt has a pleasant bar-lounge, with pictures of rural scenes on the walls, whilst the adjoining tap room has leather wall seating and many trophies on display. There's also a separate pool room up the stairs.
Traditional old local pub. Good beer at great prices. Friendly welcoming landlord.
Just a good old fashioned boozer, great beer at a good price. A refreshing change to the arty farty craft pop up bars that exist for 10 minutes then shut because of grossly overpriced drinks. Great welcoming open fire 😁
Well that fire alone would send you home like a glow worm great local good honest chat and the beer and coke went down lovely . Don't ever change its lovely to hear the quiet then laughter then local stories .
Traditional, friendly pub with lovely warm, coal fire. Sam Smith’s handpulled bitter only £2 a pint. No telly, no jukebox, just bliss. We’ll be back.
Unlike a couple of reviews this is a cosy dog friendly pub. Perhaps since our new landlord took over things have improved
