Live music venue and late bar/club in Sheffield, open 7 days a week. Every night of the week you can see live bands between 7-11pm. We then keep the party going until 4am.
On Friday and Saturday nights we have local covers bands that play all your favourite songs ranging from 50’s rock and roll to today’s indie and chart hits. On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights we host original local and touring bands, hosted by one of our carefully selected promoters who see us through to 4am.

Hands down (and I’ve been around a bit): I have never heard of such an utterly absurd entry policy anywhere globally. I just tried to casually call in on a quiet Wednesday evening for a drink when visiting Sheffield. It’s 9pm, the place is quiet. I’m a respectable guy in my mid 30’s who approached the door in a sober state and with a polite manner, only to be told I cannot come in because I’m on my own. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever been denied entry to anywhere. An utterly dismal establishment.
decent music after 11, drinks are cheap but extremely watered down. Got a triple vodka pineapple and didn’t even last like it had a single drop of alcohol. Go to bierkeller if you want cheap drinks that actually contain alcohol
Can’t say much about the place, some hate it some love it. My one star goes to the bouncers who act like they own the place and are rude to people, they also let people in they know when there’s a massive queue outside.
This place is just not for me. I'm not into live music. The drinks however are cheap so it is a good stop on a night out. It tends to be very busy as well
After a good night we left only to be verbally assaulted by a man stood next to a female bouncer working there. It was unclear whether he worked there or was just a friend of the female bouncer but he was making abusive comments on every person that left the building. When confronted, the female bouncer told us to leave instead of solving the issue. He ran inside after realising he was clearly in the wrong. Very embarrassing for west street live. disappointing and put me off ever going again.
