A small but cosy, relaxed, old fashioned pub in the centre of town. It has one rectangular room with bar on the left, serving one real ale from a range of national breweries. On the walls are photos and posters from the pub's interesting history.
Awesome, its a proper pub
A nice enough place, and I was served by a very attentive bartender which almost made me stay for an extra drink which is rare enough — I’m not sure if playing the television, and music at the same time is the best idea though lol
Friendly, locals bar. Seemed quite quiet when I went in during the week but an interesting mix of people on a Friday. Stayed open late but only had 1 cask ale.
During the present crisis the landlord increased his prices. Openly admitting that he had to make more money from people who were not his regulars. It will be remembered post pandemic. Unfortunately he’s not the only one, loyalty counts for nowt now. This was my go to pub when in Tod.
Would highly recommend visiting this quirky little pub. Brilliant staff members, always got the customers best interests at heart. Definitely a go to place before hitting the nightclub in Tod, brilliant music played and a perfect atmosphere. Well done to the owner for changing peoples perspective of the pub, definitely an all time favourite place to go for a quick pint or a mini little sesh.
