Waterside Bar + Kitchen is a beautiful modern venue situated right next to the river Trent. With a delicious, varied menu of food and cocktails there’s something for everyone! The eye-catching views from our outside patio area make this the place to be all throughout the summer. Our gorgeous conservatory area is available to hire for all sorts of special occasions. All the major events in the world of sport are shown right here live on our many screens! And with fantastic live music on every Friday from resident acoustic duo “The Money” and a great selection of cocktail offers, this really is the place to be.
We held our son’s christening event here. It is a great location and we appreciated having the conservatory area for the event, which felt more private. We chose a food package that included a variety of food for our guests, however half of the food listed on this package were missing. In addition, two small bowls of chips were brought out and this was supposed to equate to feeding 30 people?! We were charged £17.95 per person and it was a disgrace. Everyone complained about the lack of food. Scampi & Chips on their pub menu is advertised for £12.45 which probably would have been a better option per person. And finally, we are extremely disappointed as we sent an email after the event raising our complaint, which was completely ignored. We have both grown up in West Bridgford and we shall not be returning to waterside due to the appalling service and lack of acknowledgment.
Customer service is on the top level! We had a lovely Christmas meal, nothing was an issue, very helpful, professional, friendly team, who really look after their guests. Food was also very nice, caterer for GF without any issues, we will definitely come back for another gathering. Amazing place, totally recommend!
Loves this place, been wanting to come for months due to other recommendations and I'm really glad I've listened to them. Amazing service, everyone is very attentive to all our requests and need. The atmosphere is enjoyable with nice background music not too loud that we can talk. The food is absolutely amazing, we couldn't stop ordering more because everthing was so amazing we wanted to see how amazing the other items of the menu was.
Lovely pub, friendly staff, great location. The food was good except for the pizza, which was incredibly bad - a factory-made frozen base which had been baked until it was as dry and chewy as a coaster. The kids didn't seem to mind though, so your mileage may vary! Avoid the pizza and you'll have no complaints!
A lovely pub / restaurant, the staff are very friendly with a great atmosphere. We were the only one's in at 1.45pm on a Thursday afternoon. Which considering it can get busy with local sport venues requires planning. Good vibe with cricket on the big screen, food came quick and hot cooked to perfection. We shall be back thanks, easy to get to pub from slab square; catch the mainline bus of friar Gate 10 mins bus journey to Victoria embankment.
