Great pub, good atmosphere, quality food and friendly staff. Rooms were clean but basic, in need of repairs as wallpaper missing in places. Also ample parking.
Food on the day was very good, couldn't fault any aspect of it. Main course and desert the best pub food we've had in ages. Service was also very attentive. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.
Found this gem by chance. Room was just like their photos and very tastefully refurbished. I ate in their restaurant and the food was amazing. Along with the breakfast the following day, great stay will be returning
Had a meal on Saturday, no one else was eating in the pub. The food was awful, cold pasta just bread posing as garlic bread and cold chips. We wouldn’t eat there again, had pork loin food wasn’t served on a plate, served in a bowl making it very difficult to cut the meat which was very tough. Need to get their act together if they want a successful future
Stayed here for one night with our 2 dogs and absolutely loved it. We ate in the restaurant and had slow cooked Lamb and it was amazing. Very relaxed atmosphere with lovely staff and the breakfast in the morning was delicious and very generous. Couldn't fault anything.
