It was our last day before we flew out came here for nice traditional British food. Have been here many time but this will be my last. The bar had such a bad odor . Our drinks were served in wrong glasses almost like water glasses. Barely any clean up done . Ordered food and the guy did not pay attention. Our food was totally wrong ! It was horribly looking my ale pie looked from frozen and was served upside down go figure ? He didnβt even know how it was supposed to be . They bought us extra plate of baked potatoe which we did not order and food was all cold. Menu said comes with drinks however did not get that either. Worst experience ever and quality of food has gone downhill . Very disappointing! As I have recommended this place to others but not anymore. We stayed hungry that night was super upset . This place needs proper management and good customer service .
Staff and customer service very worst service at 26 November @ 16:42 not helped no one clean table like my home country proper no health and hygiene think before go cheapest pub like this
We all know about weatherspoon pubs! Cheap and Smelly, overcrowded and very noisy! But this one is special!!! Food is dead , service is very slow π mayonnaise as always empty ππ The worst thing is that the tables nobody wants to clean π And read what says on the wall and see what's on the table π
I visited last month. A smaller 'Spoons not far from the Underground station. Another branch that offers the very reasonable 'Top Plates, Low Rates' deals. I had an All Day Brunch and a pint for Β£5.99. Not bad at all! A Traditional Breakfast (if you are there before Noon) can be had for as little as Β£2.99! Food was well prepared and good portion for the money. After clocking up over 100 visits to 'Spoons (still open for business), I'm coming to the conclusion that not all 'Spoons are equal in what is offered. Many of the smaller branches - such as The Village Inn - make more of an effort in terms of service, food quality, presentation and beer quality, than many of the larger, more popular branches elsewhere. If in the area, worth a visit. Also do a better than average range of Real Ales too, for Β£2.26 a pint.
It's a little pub that is easily accessed from the underground station. You'll find your familiar spoons favourites here so there will be no surprises on what you are getting. I personally go for the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan which as tasty and a sizable portion!
