Very welcoming place and I'm a regular
Staff and customers are nice and welcoming.
Friendly little boozer, good atmosphere and welcomed by the locals. Lisa behind the bar was class. Cheers from the Barnsley lads 🏴
The pub had five people in it and I figured it would be nicequiet to sit in and get some work done. Unfortunately they didn’t take card but I assumed I could quietly sit in a corner and work on my laptop. Nope - they asked me to leave after ten minutes. So much for a friendly atmosphere. Obviously if it was busier I would have not taken up space but, as I said, five people around the bar. Every table was free.
It's been given a spruce up both inside and out. Not on my normal route but good for a stop off if you're in the area and prices are good.
