Lovely place, just popped in for drinks. Great service and enjoyed the 2 for 1 cocktails 🍸 Only put 4 stars for atmosphere as there was a little too much Taylor Swift playing for my taste!
It was very busy upon arrival and we had to sit upstairs which was considerably colder than downstairs. Ordered food and after 15 minutes it arrived. VJs burger and vegan falafel burger were really nice, best burgers we've had in a long time. Homemade chips were lovely too. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.
Pleasant lunch with tasty food. Staff friendly. Not very busy so lacked some vibe but I'm sure it is different when busy. Will go again.
An absolutely fantastic first time find in York! Food was just right, not too much and not too little, loaded fries are brilliant and flavourful The young lady behind the bar was fantastic too Would 100% recommend
Lively bar with great deals on cocktails! Popular with all ages and a quiz night on Mondays. A selection of "premium" cocktails for around £8-£9 each and deals on "classic" cocktails 2 for £10 (2 of the same cocktail). We got French Martini and White Russians and they were excellent! Cocktails aside, the bar also has a good range of draught beers and bottles and reasonably priced. Quirky decor and artwork. A little on the small side so might be tight during busy weekends but they make good use of the space they have.
