The Foragers at The Verulam Arms
The Foragers are a group of hunters and gatherers based in St Albans. They hunt game and forage wild plants, fruits and fungi from the wild and cook them up at their Wild Food Pub The Verulam Arms – a cosy Victorian local nestled in the shadow of St Albans Cathedral.
As well as a serving a menu of locally-hunted game and seasonally foraged fruit, plants and mushrooms, the pub offers a wide selection of craft beers and real ales (20 taps in total), including 3 beers brewed onsite in The Foragers’ microbrewery. There’s also a menu of wild foraged cocktails, homemade herbal liqueurs, a range boutique spirits, and a list of interesting wines from small European producers.
