Join, you needn't be Military. You'll like it. All Newcastle football games on live big screen.
Dull and dated . It has not been decorated since the wood panelled walls were installed in the 70 s . I had a tea, a toasted sandwich and a piece of dry cake . Truly awful . And the one ladies toilet is thro a room that is so cold ,it's like walking thro a fridge and also very uninviting . Morgue springs to mind when describing this place .
Very clean good prices and polite staff don't know about evening still worth a visit
A very warm welcoming Club, obviously being a Comrades Club the decor pays homage to a variety of military organisations. The staff are welcoming and friendly. During the day teas, coffees and cake are available most days of the week. Pays to check opening times in advance. The interior is more comfortable and spacious than the normal seaside cafe. No rush to be out through the doors as soon as your cup is empty. Ideally situated on the seafront close to buses and a large car park. Be warned though, most streets in the area are permit parking only. In summary a perfect place to meet friends in a quiet comfortable environment close to the Links and Spanish City. Membership is available, enquire at the bar.
Very friendly people. Very good service! I would recommend it. There is also a knitting group in the wide area of the welcoming pub and a very friendly group are always welcoming new comers. A folk group attend their music. Acoustic guitar players or capella artists also are welcome. Or any none electric musical instruments allowed in this group.
