We ate at Tudor Lodge twice, while camping at the Beavers retreat. In both instances, we arrived exactly after the time the kitchen closed, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming, that they still served us. Food is great, the service is even better, and they were very accommodating to us bringing our puppy with us, too.
We booked for Sunday Lunch. The food and service were excellent. It was busy there but everything was served nicely and the food was hot, the choice of vegetables was good and definitely freshly prepared. Lovely homemade desserts too.
Food and service pretty average. Experienced (mature) staff are good, some younger ones unfortunately can be hit and miss customer service wise, forgetting to bring things to table, ambivalent welcome/service. Soft music in restaurant area would give much nicer atmosphere Building has been decked out superbly and has lovely comfortable lounges.
An absolute find! A beautifully turned out lodge with a delightful room. Comfortable, very clean and relaxing environment. It was quiet and private and though the lovely bar wasn't available we took some wine and enjoyed the evening sunshine sitting on a warm and secluded patio in a spacious and peaceful garden. Breakfast was fab and served by a friendly and helpful lady. It was fresh, delicious and hearty. I highly recommend this little retreat just a short distance from Tenby.
I stopped here for one night. It was a slightly odd experience as I didn't see any staff at all. Due to staff shortage the main building was closed in the evening, so no chance to eat or get a drink at the bar. I collected my key from a key safe. My room was large, and well equipped and very clean. All the interactions I had with the staff were via electronic messages. I could have had a breakfast, but chose not to. When I left I just put the key back in the safe. All slightly surreal.
