Always busy and very loud atmosphere. Great drinks and good value too. Mixed crowd but very busy. Security on thr door taking back handers for entry and selling entry fee without consent from bar owners.
First Loved the Name of Trinity carries lots of memory and respect for me, When We got there we found it absolutely Cozy and Comfortable, After having our first Guiness we Started to dance and then everyone were dancing around us, For me it was absolutely Special to enter the whole fresh New year while Dancing without no serious thoughts and stress and That was the main reason I chosed to go to the nearest Dancing Club and bar around, then We found Trinity which was luckily very good & Recommended, on that new year's Eve 👌✨🍀
Despite being the only customers upstairs, the DJ was incapable of reading the room (no one was dancing, dance floor was empty, only they were into their awful music). They said there was no pre-made setlist when asked and then wouldn’t play a single requested song. Was incredibly rude about suggestions - saying “I would rather kill myself than play your suggestions”, “this isn’t a jukebox”, then lied suddenly saying they had a setlist. They also started swearing at the group and the worker supported their strange behaviour (was probably on something). I don’t understand why the venue hires a dj like that. Have been here many times before and although it’s always been trashy, managed to have a good time as the DJ had always played suggestions. Would not recommend.
Quite unhappy with the new bartender, wanted some advice on which ale to have, was unhelpful, asked to try a sip of Brixton, just flatly said "no". Music upstairs was ok with DJ but not downstairs.
Amazing bar. A local institution. Karaoke on Wednesdays is always a laugh, and the DJs and bands they pull in are phenomenal. Fantastic environment and great service.

The ‘moon’ part of this Wetherspoon pub’s name links it with the ideal pub described by George Orwell. The well-known writer called his fictitious pub ‘Moon Under Water’. The Moon on the Hill opened here, on Station Road, in 1991.
