Great little place and good range of ales. Shame about the queue for the single working loo at the top of the stairs.
Absolutely outstanding craft beer bar, small but mighty! Great selection of beers, sometimes it is easier for places to go for the easy sell little of the road beers but here there is a fantastic selection across the styles - something for everyone. Would thoroughly recommend!
Great little Bar with a fantastic selection of beers, ales IPAs. Perfect for a pre drink before heading to shows at the City Hall. Much better than Weatherspoons next door!
The best craft beer bar in the North East. Excellent sausage rolls (vegan and carnivorous) from Pink Lane bakery.
Haven't been in for ages, but still as good as I remember, great choice of beers and the friends who I was with were a little bamboozled with the variety of drinks, however the barman was great and there were well impressed with his recommendations

Sergeant Peppers is a vibrant and sociable pub with plenty of entertainment of offer. Try popping in at weekends to enjoy dancing the night away all the hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

City Tavern, established in 1923 in a historic Tudor façade building, was one of Newcastle’s most famous pubs. Since then it has undergone several name and style changes, until Spring 2014 when we brought it back to where it all began.
