We really enjoyed our carvery here, we only go there as its the best Toby Carvery. The food is always delicious and plenty of choice. The staff are really happy and very professional, nothing is too much trouble, in particular Hope was our server today, what a lovely young lady, she had a smile on her face the whole time we were there, she is a credit to Toby Carvery

Honestly, I’m just appalled. WHERE DO I START!!?? We had over a 30 minute wait time JUST to be seated despite having a booking and arriving 5 minutes early. Whilst waiting we were told to go to the bar- it was a 15 minute wait for the bartenders to serve us. Once we were seated we went up to the carvery, the wait time in the carvery queue was 30 minutes. There were such lacking Choices of meat to choose between- the one given to me had blood on it and was still raw. When asking for it to be changed the chef got very annoyed with me. Many people in the queue were appalled by today. 100% do not recommend. I will not be coming to this carvery again.

It is the only pub in the area. It is what it is. It's not a pub or a restaurant, sort of a diner. I took my son there yesterday, who is four. He enjoyed the food. If I went to a restaurant, I would expect no swearing. Not everyone just one table that's not on in front of children. It is very stressful not a relaxing environment

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Toby Carvery. After a long day of work, my family and I were looking forward to a relaxing meal, but it turned out to be extremely unpleasant. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a manager who was unwelcoming and made us feel like we had committed a serious offense just by walking through the door. It's disheartening to note that every time we've visited, her demeanor has been consistently sour. After being seated, no one approached us to ask if we wanted drinks, and we had to flag someone down after we had already eaten. It became apparent that we had been seated in an area where customers are easily forgotten about. When we went up to get our meat , the turkey was paper thin, as if it had been taken out of a packet from the store. The potatoes were overcooked, and when we requested to be moved to another table, the staff member became defensive and made a point of reminding us that we were dining at a discounted price. This was incredibly rude, regardless of the price we were paying. As regular customers, it's disheartening to feel under appreciated in a place we visit often. I am genuinely upset as a frequent patron, and it's clear that regulars are not valued at this establishment.

We haven't been for years so we were looking forward to visiting again. You can park for free just enter your reg inside at reception, nice to have that and not worry about parking. The lady that served was polite and friendly. Prices great for our food, only negative I would say is there wasn't any lamb, the roast potatoes could of been hotter and crisper and the mac n cheese wasn't very cheesy aside from that I can't wait to return. We (4 of us) went back again yesterday (21st May) for my sons birthday meal. Booked our table, lovely meal. Busy waitress, thank you though Sydney. Clean plates.
