Can understand that it was built but they decided to take a walk in table of 12. We took ages to be served and then had a long wait to get food. I was a chief for 14 years and the meat that was taken out was under cooked, the ham was still like jelly in the middle. The server was apologetic to every one saying it’s all rare but you do not serve white meat rare ! Then day after myself and my family are all running back and forward to the toilet although we chose meats that looked cooked. This is an absolute disappoint and we feel that we will not return to this Toby ever again.
I enjoyed the whole thing so much. Our server looked after us so well. From the minute we got to the wait to be seated stand, he did so much. He got our drinks, helped me order our pigs 'n' blankets and he even got me a bag to put my left over in it for my dog. His name was Chris and he was fantastic and so attentive. I use a wheelchair and he was so thoughtful and considerate and offered to open up the queue line so I could go to the food counter myself, but I was with my husband and he got mine for me. We enjoyed the atmosphere and it was a great night for us both. The only thing that lets it down is the car park outside. There aren't spaces properly marked out, and I have looked everywhere for disabled spaces. The lights don't light the car park properly and neither are the pathways. I'd hate to be walking out of the pub on my own in the night to the car because I wouldn't see if there was anyone there. When possible, it would be good if the company could sort out the car park. I'll be definitely here again in the future. Toby Carvery is best for me because I have found lately, that pubs all seem to offer the same thing all of the time and you get fed up with it, or go off it or the atmosphere isn't right. You could say I eat the same thing when I come here, but the thing is, I won't, because there is always something different and I don't eat many roast dinners. Thank you to Chris and all the staff at Arrowe Park who are all absolutely brilliant, attentive, courteous and kind.
Absolutely gorgeous comfortable place. Food, Service, and staff are great. Good range of drinks and food. Cheap prices too!!! What more could you ask? They even do 'Too Good To Go' as well! We ealked in and had 4 x Carvery! They were catering for a large funeral party too and we didn't wait too long for drinks or food! Really nice place!!! Recommended!!!!
The food was hot and plenty of it. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Look forward to more £6 offers as my husband and I would go more often , as at our age 70 odd yrs old having a decent cooked meal is so lovely.. My only thought is the cup of tea was extremely small for the price , a pot for two would of been better, may of got 2 cups each from it.
Proper good portion of meat and they offered an extra roast potato at no extra charge because they were a little bit small. All the food was fresh 👍👍👍 and I used a £10 off when you spend £25 voucher🌞 the beer garden is huge and has lots of space in the Sun or under an umbrella.
