Good pint good staff
Good beer friendly staff and clients.
Proper traditional pub. Friendly cosy happy staff.
The staff are very helpful.. I wanted to lend a charging cable for my phone, they hadn't one but asked around the various rooms, going above and beyond what you normally get. Toilets are spotless with a large beer garden to the rear. My pint of Guinness was perfect. It was really cold outside when I visited but it was really cozy inside. Prices are reasonable and compare favourably with any other rural pub. Sadly, they don't do pies.. A warmed pie, with or without mushy peas would make this a 5 star pub.
