Meeting friends and family has become even more precious to us over the last few years and at the Inn you will find a friendly smile and a safe haven away from life's stresses and strains. So important now in these uncertain times. Tucked away in the corner a selection of games and always some tasty sweet cakes to compliment your coffee. The Three Pigeons Inn welcomes all members of the family, including our furry friends. Our bar and our courtyard is dog friendly and we will endeavour to welcome them with a bowl of water. Please note however, that our seating is for humans only!.
My uncle arranged for my sister and me to stay here, we loved the rooms we were allocated, they are beautifully decorated and the attention to detail is fantastic - even providing an additional mirror in front of the window, which was great for doing your make up in. The room was lovely and warm in a cold December night, with an extra blanket. There’s a fan if you’re warm, they’ve really thought of everything! The lady that checked us in was really friendly and a us feel at home. The Inn was very quiet after 11pm. The bathroom is gorgeous, I had a bath and it was so relaxing, it felt like being on a luxury getaway. I’d definitely stay here again!!
Met up with long lost friends here as it was relatively central to where we all live these days. We drove and managed to park in their car park, and others travelled by train and were able to make the short walk from the station. Staff very pleasant and attentive and looked after us well. A couple of decent beers and the food was well cooked and presented. Would recommend if you are in the area.
This is a place with an excellent atmosphere, great people and accommodations that had more amenities than most hotels I’ve frequented !! The garden area is very large and a good place to unwind with adequate parking. Add that’s it close to shops and restaurants PLUS a great group of locals that make you feel welcome and you’ve got the best of everything. Try it for yourself
Called in about 12.30pm on the off-chance for an early Sunday lunch. I think we were probably the first there. Options were beef, pork or chicken. We both opted for the roast beef - it was excellent! Second time we have had Sunday lunch here and it has not disappointed on either occasion. The cost was pretty standard for a pub Sunday lunch. Well worth it. I have no hesitation in recommending this venue.
This is my second stay at the Three Pigeons and I loved every minute! Miss Tina and the lovely ladies and gentlemen of the Inn & Pub are so warm and gracious that I very much look forward to my next visit. The rooms are charming, the food is excellent (Sunday roast out of this world), but the staff are simply the best. They are so thoughtful and try to provide every comfort. I thoroughly enjoyed and am very thankful to them.
