This is possibly the most dog-friendly pub we have ever been to. We pre-booked for Saturday lunch for six people with four dogs. Good job we did as the rest of the tables were quickly taken. At one point there were nine dogs in there. No problem for the pub. There is another bar, I am not sure what the dog situation is in there, so if you are dog-phobic, I would recommend contacting the pub in advance to see what the score is.
Good food well cooked and a lovely pint and friendly staff I go there once or twice a month
We hired the barn at the pub for a 60th birthday party - it was the perfect venue and David, Helen and the team provided an amazing service. Would highly recommend!
We had a surprise 60th birthday at the three horseshoes “barn” area and it was fantastic!! Great communication, great buffet food supplied and overall a wonderful environment. Highly recommend this pub for an event like a birthday!
We specifically chose this pub as the website had a great and interesting range of vegetarian and vegan options-which can be quite hard to find in rural settings. Sadly, once we arrived we were informed that the menu online was not correct as they were under new management. This was hugely stressful as we both could now only eat one of the three options for various reasons, and had no options for anywhere else to eat as we'd come by taxi due to a car issue. The food we did have was fine, standard pub fare and the puddings were a highlight, but I can't say I'd recommend it I'm afraid. The website has since been updated to indicate that the menu is under review, but this should have been done much earlier.
