On Friday 18 March, National Theatre Wales will be working with The Three Crowns pub to bring you a night of free discussion and freer entertainment. We shall be asking: What's Milford's Energy and will be inviting you to respond to this in the most creative or analytical way.
Milford is the hub of the UK's energy – but what really is Milford's energy? From gases to caffeine fixes to community groups, The Milford Assembly will look at the numerous powerful forces which drive the town. Come along for an energetic mix of bingo, open-mic and debate to explore the town's true power.
Because our Assembly coincides with Red Nose Day, and in response to the enthusiasm we've seen so far for open-mic performance, we will be inviting individuals and groups to take over the stage and raise money for a good cause. So far, Milford's very own Ginger Elvis and local group Pennysows have promised to entertain us but we're looking for more.
So whether you want to showcase your skills or just come along for a natter and a pint, join us from 7pm on Friday!
