The pub is a quirky old pub, with a large car park and lots of rooms inside. The staff were excellent, genuinely engaged with the customers and went out of their way to make sure the customer was happy. The food was delicious too.

This is situated on old Bristol road in Quedgeley. Has just been refurbished. There is plenty of parking. Looks lovely from the outside with plenty of seating. Really lovely inside again with plenty of seating. You can eat in the bar or restaurant side. Staff so friendly and welcoming. The food choices are really good with nice choices. The food was really nice and hot. There is a sign saying newly refurbished rooms so if bar area is anything to go by I think the rooms will be lovely, fresh. Would definitely recommend and will go again.

Ate here for a Sunday roast dinner which was really quite tasty! However the slow service lets it down which is disappointing. It took just over 2 hours to have 2 courses and the bill on what was not a particularly busy afternoon. We would return again but only if we have no plans to rush to afterwards.

This place has recently under gone a major alteration. The old bar has been moved into what was the restaurant area, what a difference it has made, more seating, better set out, really like the layout. Good drinks, welcoming staff, the changes make a big difference

Booked a Christmas Meal, ordered Salmon which came with a small amount of mashed potato and a desert spoon of spinach no other veg. The starter was small and the bread supplied was rock hard. The sweet was Christmas pudding and custard, I would estimate 2 spoonfuls of Christmas pudding and one table spoon of custard. Service was very slow, and drinks were more expensive than the local pub next door. And all this for £30.00 excluding drinks.
